The Boundaries program provides intensive individualized support for youth between the ages of 12 and 18 who have been convicted of a serious offence and who are directed to attend for treatment counselling and/or a Residential Attendance Program, under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. All youth served by the Boundaries Program must be actively involved with Youth Probation, must attend treatment with Youth Forensics Psychiatric Services, and must participate in community activities. Case management teams work with the youth and their families to provide comprehensive services to reduce the risk of recidivism through connection and inclusion, and to plan for the youth’s end-of-service transition.
